SWITCH2019 Conference in Penrith (Australia)
At the annual SWITCH conference of NSW Public Libraries Association Aat will be a keynote speaker on Libraries as Third Places for All. He will also led the Bring Your Challenge workshop during the event.
SWITCH2019 Conference – Bring Your Challenge Workshop
As a keynote speaker at the SWITCH conference of NSW Public Libraries Association (Australia), Aat will lead the interactive Bring Your Challenge workshop that learns participants how to turn theory into practice when it comes to creating vital 3rd places.
Familienzentrum Radebeul (Germany)
Aat will contribute to the special day programme of the Familienzentrum (Family center) in Radebeul, Germany. The Familienzentrum is a so-called Mehr Generationen Haus (Multigeneration House). More info will follow.
FacilitylinQ Xmas Talk (Amsterdam)
FacilitylinQ in Amsterdam is specialized in design furniture for offices and libraries. Aat will give a talk about 3rd4all and the role of interior design for the FacilitylinQ team during the annual Xmas diner.

As one of the speakers at this event in Amsterdam (NL), Aat shares his vision of the office of the future. To start a discussion with the audience about how we will be working in a few years’ time.

During my lecture at CILIP Conference I will talk about my recent research that shows the changing social role of libraries. I’ll offer a new perspective for British librarians and show how they can transform their libraries into 3RD4ALL.
