Maatschappelijke Vastgoeddag 2023
At this yearly event, our Creative Director Aat Vos will give an inspirational talk about third places and how to make them multifunctional. The talk is part of an interactive session.

Our Creative Director Aat Vos joins a special evening in the German city of Aachen, focused on the future of the Aachen city center. Aat will inform the audience about the topic of “Libraries as third places: The potential of interventions in social infrastructure”.
25 years of VÖBB
At a special gathering in German capital Berlin, our creative director Aat Vos will deliver a keynote speech. The ceremony will mark 25 years of VÖBB, Verbund der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken Berlins.
IFLA Satellite meeting: Libraries in Sustainable Urban Development
Ahead of IFLA WLIC 2023 in Rotterdam, this METLIB Satellite Meeting takes place. The theme: “Realising the Opportunity: Libraries in Sustainable Urban Development”. Together with Dr. Hanne Vogt (Director City Library Cologne), our creative director Aat Vos will present ins & outs about ‘The Library as a Community Hub’. Register for access via the link.

“Huizen Library as a Third Place” is the topic of this event at Huizen Library (NL) where includi’s creative director Aat Vos will inform the audience about all the ins & outs of the relevancy of third places for all and how libraries can transform in this type of inclusive community hotspots. In addition to the “Happy Campus” event on the 18th of April 2023 at KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit/Catholic University) a presentation by includi’s Creative Director Aat Vos followed by a panel discussion will take place on the 19th.

At KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit/Catholic University) in Belgium, Hélène IJsselstijn, Interior Architect at includi, and Aat Vos, our Creative Director, will give an informative and inspiring lecture “Happy Campus”. They will dive deeper into the question “How to make the campus a meaningful place?”
Think Tank “Relevant Museum”
What would be missing if there were no more museums? What impact can and should museums have? At the invitation of the NORDMETALL Foundation, 15 experts – including Martin Zierold (Institut für Kulturmanagement) and Jasmin Vogel (Europäische Kulturmanagerin 2021) are developing a rough system of action for the discussion of the social value and potential of this institution and its financing. NEUVERORTUNG: Future Library at Neumarkt Cologne
At this special event, at the Central Library of Cologne (DE) of Stadtbibliothek Köln, our Creative Director Aat Vos will present the interior concept of a newly designed Central Library – groundbreaking for the future of the cultural quarter at the Neumarkt. The event is supported by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Düsseldorf. Free entrance, start: 6pm.
